Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a mission and outreach of Forestville Uniting Church. OCC is an arm of Samaritan’s Purse which is a world wide organisation that Forestville Uniting Church strongly supports. Each year our church packs 200 shoeboxes to send to children in underprivileged countries. The children see God’s practical outpouring of love for them in the joy and happiness that every shoebox brings to each child. Whole communities are blessed and encouraged by the giving of the boxes.
Each shoebox is filled with something to love (a cuddly toy), something to wear, something to play with, some hygiene items and some educational items.
